Create the entity data model

This topic describes how to create an Entity Data Model (EDM) in Visual Studio using the EDM Designer that has been supplemented by the DevForce EDM Designer Extension. 

Alternatively, you could create your entity model classes in Code First style without resort to the EDM designer and its EDMX file.
