6.1.14 release notes

This is a maintenance release of DevForce 2010.

Defect repairs

• Fixed several problems in the TypeWrapper type mapping logic which resulted in "Unable to locate type" exceptions".  [D2219] [D2436]

• Code First - Overrides of virtual properties now work correctly. [D2277]

• EntityManager RemoveEntity/RemoveEntities calls now check that the entity belongs to the EntityManager on which the call is made. [D2388]

• Silverlight - The DynamicXap now loads all assemblies in the manifest prior to performing probing.  [D2401]

• Code First - The IdeaBlade.DevForce-2010.Aop NuGet package now installs to .NET 4.5 projects correctly.  [D2406]

• Fixed an error which occurred when removing and refetching entities in an inheritance hierarchy.  [D2423]

• Fixed a problem with change tracking of Complex Type properties.  [D2443]

Known issues

Code First

• The version of the DevForce 2010 Code First NuGet package must match the version of DevForce installed.  See here for more information.

• DevForce uses PostSharp 2.1.  If you manually install the PostSharp NuGet package be sure to specify the version number so that you don't mistakenly upgrade to version 3.  More information is available here.
