6.1.16 release notes

This release of DevForce 2010 includes several defect repairs.

Defect repairs

• Addressed several many-to-many query, import and save issues. [F1874, D2511, D2529, D2530]
• Silverlight - Dynamic queries executed against cache threw a System.Security.VerificationException.  Fixed.   [D2525]
• The ReflectionCloner now clones the VerifierResult without failing.  [D2533]
• The ReflectionCloner now supports the IgnoreDataMember attribute.  [D2537]
• Fixed a problem when deserializing the RelatedEntityList which could result in a later NullReferenceExceptions when accessing data properties.  [D2539]
• Fixed a problem in the discovery logic for the Visual Studio version.  [D2540]
• Fixed a problem with identifying parent EntityKeys in an inheritance hierarchy.  [D2541]

Notes

• Version 6.1.16 has been certified for Visual Studio 2013 RTM.  DevForce 2010 can be used with the Professional Edition and above of VS 2010, VS2012 and VS2013.
• Entity Framework 6 is not supported. 

Known issues

Code First

• The version of the DevForce 2010 Code First NuGet package must match the version of DevForce installed.  See here for more information.

• DevForce uses PostSharp 2.1.  If you manually install the PostSharp NuGet package be sure to specify the version number so that you don't mistakenly upgrade to version 3.  More information is available here.
