DevForce WinForms DataBinders release notes

The DevForce WinForms DataBinders provide data binding support to the Developer Express and Infragistics control suites for WinForms applications built using DevForce 2010 or DevForce 2012.  

Supported suites:
Developer Express - 14.1, 15.1, 15.2, 16.1, 17.1, 17.2, 18.1, 18.2, 19.1
Infragistics - version-free (beginning with 17.2)

Supported Visual Studio versions - 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019

Notes

  • To use Infragistics UI controls at design time the version-free assemblies must be placed in the GAC.  See here for more information.

Known issues

  • You must first uninstall any prior version of DevForce WinForms DataBinders (or the earlier product, DevForce WinForms 2010) before installing a new version.
  • Controls are not automatically installed to the toolbox.  The "Getting Started" page contains information on how to add items to the toolbox.
  • Automatic assembly binding redirection is not performed if your control suite version does not correspond to the version used by DevForce.
